2011 in a nutshell!

My second attempt on doing this; the first one was too long and I figured I wouldn't want to bore you too much with a wordy long post.

1. I went to Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Singapore! This is probably the highlight of the year :) silly me forgot to bring my binoculars along to the show ): But nevertheless it's my first time seeing kpop stars with my very own eyes. 2NE1, Super Junior, SNSD, Kim Hyun Joong and so much more were all there! The only two missing are my BB and 2pm.

2. Meeting Ryan Higa and KevJumba in person. And I got hugs from them asdfghjkl hahaha are you jelly?! I met Jayesslee, Andrew Garcia, D-pryde and Maribelle Anes too. The boombox was definitely one night to remember!

3. As per #1, my trip to Singapore! I got to spend time with the dearie and so much shopping! Maybe a little bit too much hahaha. Thank you for your company :)

4. Bruno Mars concert! ... which I went alone because my friend couldn't find cheaper tickets. It wasn't too bad after all. And yes, he's such a charmer.

5. Me turning 21! Pretty much one of the best birthday ever, with so much surprises and all! The MAMA show was for my birthday present! Thank you daddy for being so nice to me :') and to the amazing people around me as well. I'm very blessed.

6. This is not worth remembering, but I had 3 field trips this year. Crazy indeed. And each one is like for a week. I'm glad I survived. I don't get why people say it gets better when you go into year 3. Year 3 is definitely my busiest year ever.

7. Food exploring buddy! Thanks to her, we've been going to new places in Perth to try out new food :) and random trips to ikea hahaha. Can't wait to see you again hun! And all the people whom I got to know better during the year!

8. I took up Korean classes in uni. Not sure it was a good decision because I was struggling to cope with all my other units and taking up a new language from scratch requires a lot of effort. I did good in my unit, but I don't think I gave it enough time and all that - I still can't watch dramas/variety shows without subs ): Or maybe what we learnt was pretty basic like one two threes and all.

9. My dearest grandma passed away in May. It was shocking because I only knew about her being in the hospital that morning she passed away. I was devastated because I didn't get to say goodbye to her and no one told me about it only until that day. If only )': I know God took her away because He couldn't bear to see her suffering from all the pain. I hope you are happy in heaven, Grandma. We all miss you.

10. Parents' honeymoon trip! Longest 11 days, ever. Because I had to babysit those two at home. And it's not as easy as you think. Oh well, I think I'm a step closer to being a super pro babysitter now. But then, now the thought of having to take care of kids next time horrifies me.

11. My new baby!! Hahahaha chill okay. It's not what you think. Parents' got me this new semi-pro DSLR from Singapore :) I'm still learning to take pretty pictures with it now. Oh and I forgot my new boyfriend in Perth, thanks to him I don't have to take buses-train-buses to uni anymore nor walk back home on Friday nights! And yes, my car is a "he" because I said so.

12. Oh and I snipped my hair short! This is worth a mention? because the last time I had it short was probably 7 years ago hahaha.
